Summer's almost heretime for family road trips, and soaring gas prices. Cars that run on hydrogen would solve that problem, and end our dependence on imported oil as well. As this ScienCentral News video reports, one engineer says nanotechnology could help make hydrogen cars affordable. "The motivation for switching to hydrogen fuel is to have energy security, so we would be less dependent on fossil fuels coming from the Near East,"

personally i think hydrogen cars would be more dangerous then car prices, i mean, hydrogen mixed with oxygen = kaboom, but it would save money haha, the best i think right now are hybrid, electric cars, those are gonna sky rocket...

Exactly what I was thinking... I mean Hydrogen cars would mean lower fuel prices prolly like a dime a gallon of hydrogen due to its huge abundance... But the thing with hydrogen is it isn't like methane. Whereas methane just catches on fire and burns, Hydrogen explodes. So if you just filled up your car with hydrogen, get on the expressway going 65-70 MPH, get into an accident... Good-bye you, and everyone within prolly about 10 square miles.
